IPI User Training 10./11. December 2018 at SUISA's offices in Zurich
A 2 days IPI user training will take place at SUISA's offices in Zurich, 10th and 11th December 2018, for societies interested in entering their membership information directly into the IPI database. As this is an IPI user training, the participants should be the ones that will be updating the IPI system for the society. The training will be in English.
There are no costs for the training itself, but the participants have to cover the travel costs (flight, hotel etc.)
Please let us know as soon as possible whether you are interested to attend the training in December, email@example.com
The training system has been refreshed with production data from September 30th 2018.

We are currently issueing new IpNameNrs in the previously unused ( and unreserved ) range
00359 00 00 00 => 00400 00 00 00.
Once this range is used, most probably by the end of 2018, we will continue issueing IpName numbers > 01000 00 00 00.
This is done to give some more time to societies adapt their systems to the 11 digit IpNameNr. 11031 IpNameNrs have already been issued which have 10 digits.
For any queries or support - please contact the ipi center at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Societies which would like to process EDI files against the IPI training system may request a test FTP account from the IPI center. EDI files uploaded to the test FTP account are processed every 1/2hour ( as in the production environment ). Daily update EDI files are also made availible on the test FTP accounts for all transactions made on the training system.
There is a new feature in the search screen to enable search for IPs with birthdate or deathdate.
yob/F == YYYY ( finds IPs with year of birth / foundation equal to date )
yob/F =* YYYY ( finds IPs with year of birth / foundation equal to date or IPs which do not have a birthdate)
yob/F <= YYYY ( finds IPs with year of birth / foundation less than or equal to date )
yob/F >= YYYY ( finds IPs with year of birth / foundation greater or equal to date )
same for yod/D ( is the year of death / dissolution )
